The Ferrari Museum is a wonder to see and a must-do experience when in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. The museum is a Ferrari lover’s dream. All of the cars on display allow for a close look. Walk right up to them and admire their beauty!

As you walk through the museum, you’ll see red cars everywhere. Enzo Ferrari claimed that a child will always choose red when drawing a car. He’s probably right!

So many cars in this large museum. Every so often, you find a car that isn’t red.

Ferrari developed V-12 engines and had strong feelings about them.

Many years ago, cars were modeled out of wood, or in many cases, clay. The design allowed Ferrari to see what the car would look like and to have a working model for their production staff. It’s fascinating to think that the designers had to cut out wood and assemble models for their proof of concept cars. This has to be a lost art today.

A show-stopping car in gloss black that had everyone drooling over it. It was difficult to get a photo of it since so many people were attracted to its good looks. I have to admit that I stood and stared for quite some time.

Space for all the trophies is set up inside the museum. It’s a bit overwhelming to see how many races must have been won to amass such a huge collection.

And more red racing cars. I never got tired of seeing them. Ferrari is just an iconic brand and is well represented here.

Right next door is a restaurant and Ferrari test-drive rental place. There are many Ferrari rental businesses in Maranello. For the right price, you can take a spin in a Ferrari!

The drive to the Ferrari Museum is well worth the time it takes to get there. You will most likely not have another chance to walk among so many historic cars and read some of their histories. Maranello is an interesting town and deserves a quick look. We thoroughly enjoyed all they had to offer.
